Home page | Recipes page | Gallery | Our B&B White Cottage is a cosy 18th Century worker's cottage set in a tiny village in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire countryside. We are currently offering just one Double bedroom with private shower room for the occupant's sole use. The bedroom has a double bed, television with Freeview and tea/coffee making facilities. If required, we can add a further single bed to the room. We also offer free Wi-Fi. We offer full cooked or continental Breakfasts which use much of the delicious and varied local produce and include home-made bread and preserves, organic yoghurt and fresh fruit. All diets - including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, diabetic - are catered for, and not only at Breakfast as we also offer Packed Lunch and Evening Meals if required. All the food is home-made on the premises and often features our home grown organic fruit and vegetables when in season. All eggs are free-range and local. Our location makes White Cottage the ideal spot in which to base your holiday whether you love walking, fishing and outdoor pursuits or to have a leisurely drive to places such as Dunkeld (7 minutes), Perth (20 minutes), Pitlochry (25 minutes), Stirling (50 minutes), Inverness (2 hours) to see the fascinating array of sights they have to offer. These include Dunkeld Cathedral, Scone Palace, Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, Pitlochry Theatre, Blair Athol Distillery, the Beatrix Potter Garden - to name but a few. We are always on hand to offer suggestions or to arrange visits to these and many more highlights of the area. We are situated in a perfect place for those who love walking and the choice of walks near White Cottage is huge. We can arrange for you to be taken to a walking location and collected when you've finished, so you don't even need to drive if you don't want to. We are well served with public transport having a bus stop around 50 metres from the cottage and both Dunkeld and Perth having train stations with a regular 7 day service. The closest airport is Edinburgh which is an easy 1hour 15minutes drive to/from Caputh. We look forward to welcoming you to our home."
